As a result of natural progression eXtraman’s activities morphed into many and varied business models always retaining personnel as a core value.
In 1985, due to a great deal of exposure to supply chain activities, eXtraman successfully tendered to provide a comprehensive range of 3PL services to David Jones, when the company chose to outsource the requirements of their National Distribution Centre at Homebush. During the next 4 years a national network of warehouses was established to service the needs of a significant number of major Australian businesses, including companies such as Apple, Sanyo, Sony, BBC Hardware, DuPont, Hitachi, Fujitsu and many others.
In 1989 a joint venture was established when 50% of the company was sold to the giant Japanese shipping company NYK Logistics, and a national express freight service was added to the company’s portfolio of services. This business was totally acquired by NYK in 1995 and eXenet was formed by the departing directors to capitalise on an immense amount of commercial knowledge acquired, particularly in the supply chain arena.
The Directors of eXenet Human Resource today bring a wealth of genuine commercial and industrial experience and expertise to the company. From Board positions with some of Australia’s largest national and multi-national corporate entities, to a significant range of senior executive roles within numerous commercial and industrial sectors.
All eXenet candidates and contract personnel are chosen with great attention to both skills and cultural fit, and every detail is overseen by successful industry professionals. Please view the credentials of our Recruiters below and do not hesitate to contact us for additional information.
